Quite often the voltage converter in the FICM will deteriorate due to age or dead/dying batteries. This in turn will cause the truck to not perform as well. A sure sign of this is when the truck becomes harder to start.

Most companies perform repairs to the "half shell" amplifier side of the FICM and pair with a working "logic side. Both sides are prone to failure and ACR has engineered methods to upgrade and perform repairs to the entire FICM to ensure stability and no future replacement or downtime.
